Martha was born in Paris, Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in German literature. She studied extensively in Germany and taught high school for 11 years before entering real estate.
Martha says that the transition from teaching was easy because she had moved 11 times, including residences in several different states as well as in Europe. Since beginning her Real Estate career, Martha has been recognized 6 times as the #1 agent for the state of Texas. She has also been the top agent for all of Collin County for Coldwell Banker since 1985.
Martha is an agent who combines her knack for real estate with a strong work ethic. She makes the real estate business look so easy. As a realtor, Martha values being involved with people when they make one of the most important decisions in their lives - buying or selling a home.
Martha is married to Gerald Robertson. He is her partner in marriage as well as business. He provides support and marketing expertise to their real estate business. They have 3 children. The entire family is avid international travelers. Martha and Gerald enjoy playing golf at Stonebriar Country Club. They have a 2-year-old grandson and a daughter who is graduating from Southern Methodist University in May 2002. Their son is 14 and will be entering high school in the fall of 2002.
